Personal Assistant - ISMAPNG, Stanmore, NSW

The Organisation:

The Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea (ISMAPNG) is a Religious Institute of Catholic women who advance the reign of God by engaging in the spiritual and corporal works of mercy. The Role:

We have an opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant to work together with the ISMAPNG team located in Stanmore. In this role, you will use your sound PA experience and your professional approach to become an integral part of a small team that values working efficiently and in harmony together. The primary purpose of this role is to administratively support the Leadership Team and Executive Director.

You will be responsible for a wide range of executive support, including duties such as meeting coordination, minute taking, travel & accommodation, managing correspondence and document typing, relief reception work and general office assistance in other areas of the organisation.

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Sound experience working as a Personal Assistant
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • An ability to demonstrate strong initiative and problem-solving skills
  • An ability to work as part of a small and cohesive team
  • An ability to be sensitive and discreet and hold confidentiality
  • Sound experience using Microsoft Office Suite and meeting platforms such as Teams & Zoom

Reporting to the Executive Assistant and working closely with both the Executive Assistant and Executive Director, this is a 2-year fixed term contract, working full time hours Monday – Friday, with flexibility for some work to be completed from home. An attractive salary is on offer commensurate with the role.
