Deputy Head of College - St Stanislaus' College Bathurst, NSW

St Stanislaus’ College Bathurst is the only Vincentian College in Australia and is the oldest continuing Catholic boarding school in the country. The College was founded in 1867 and conducted since 1889 by the Congregation of the Mission's priests and brothers. It caters for approximately 600 boys from Year 7 to Year 12, including approximately 120 boarders. St Stanislaus' has a proud history of not only academic and sporting success but also in forming young men to make a positive difference in society especially amongst the poor.

Bathurst is the oldest inland settlement in Australia and boasts a growing population of approximately 37,000. Located less than two hours drive from Sydney, Bathurst offers all the advantages and benefits of regional living whilst being easily accessible to the amenities of a major metropolitan city.

DEPUTY HEAD OF COLLEGE

St Stanislaus’ College is seeking to appoint a dynamic and innovative educator to this significant and expansive Senior Leadership role. The successful candidate will be an exceptional Catholic educator with relevant formation, qualifications, and experiences. They will join an established and focussed Strategic Leadership Team and will play a significant role in shaping and nurturing our Vincentian Identity and educational mission across the “Stannies” College community.

This position is full time and ongoing commencing January 2021. The initial term of the appointment will be for five years with a further five years offered following a successful appraisal.
