Led by Bishop Brian Mascord, who was ordained in February 2018, the Diocese of Wollongong is home to some 191,000 baptised Catholics extending across the Illawarra, Macarthur, Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands regions of NSW.
Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong (CEDoW) is a System of 38 school communities, together with the Catholic Education Office, which exists to service the educational, administrative and resourcing needs of these schools.
The Catholic Life, Education and Mission service area exists within CEDoW to proactively support Lighting the Way, the Vision and Strategic Direction for Catholic Education in the Diocese of Wollongong.
Reporting to the Director of Schools and leading a team of 13, this role is a foundational and significant leadership position. The scope of the role encompasses aspects including:

- Advocacy & Outreach
- Mission Formation & Integration
- Prayer & Liturgy
- Religious Education
- Staff Spiritual Formation
