Vaccinations, a statue and an apparition

A week marked by dispute and also adoration: Californian bishops spoke out on children's vaccinations, a poll found Austrians don't trust the church, the head of the US John Jay college criticised media coverage of its abuse report. In Peru, a giant statue of Christ was blessed and in Medjugorje pilgrims flocked to the 30th anniversary of the Marian apparition (pictured).
