The Stations of the Cross is a prayerful re-enactment of the last days of Jesus' life, and will take place in Sydney on Friday July 18. This is one of the highlights of WYD08, a live theatrical and devotional event which will be held in the afternoon. The city will be transformed into an outdoor cathedral.
This event will be held across a number of venues between 3.00-6.00pm. These include St Mary's Cathedral, Barangaroo, Darling Harbour, Sydney Opera House Forecourt, Domain. Sydneysiders who haven't registered are encouraged to go to Darling Harbour and the Domain where one of the Stations will take place or watch the whole production on screens at Circular Quay, Royal Botanic Gardens and Crescent Precinct in The Domain.
